Forum Poprad has tenants and financing

After the demolition of the existing unoccupied department store Prior, on the square sv. Egídia the new shopping centre project envisages the construction of about 23,000 sq m offering over 100 shops on three levels and 450 parking spaces. A large outdoor terrace will offer a pleasant view to the High Tatras. The expected opening date is scheduled for Autumn 2015.
Forum Poprad represents an investment of approximately 50 million Euros and provides work for over 400 people.

Over half of the retail space is already pre - leased. In addition to the modern supermarket Tesco other confirmed tenants include; H&M, C&A, Intersport , A3 Sport, Bata, Reno, Reserved, Cropp, House , Mohito , Sinsay , Lindex , DM , Martinus Planet Electric , Dragon , John Garfield , Fann, pharmacy and many others. A variety of restaurants and cafes plus a children's corner will allow Forum to become a centre of relaxation and entertainment for the whole family.


Cushman & Wakefield is the exclusive leasing agent for Forum Poprad. “In co-operation with Multi Veste Slovakia we have generated an attractive tenant mix in the project. The centre will offer the possibility for customers to benefit from well-known fashion brands, services and entertainment in the core of the city,” says Cristina Dumitrache, Associate, Retail team, Cushman & Wakefield Slovakia.

Bank finance for the project is being provided by VUB bank and Slovenská Sporiteľňa. There are now no remaining obstacles that will hold up the construction of the new centre in line with the anticipated starting date of construction this spring. "Development in the current economic situation is not easy, but when a new scheme is a good project, occupiers are interested and our persistence in this case has paid off.
