DSV Prolonged a lease agreement in Bratislava Logistics Park

DSV is one of the leading logistics networks in the world and is active as a global supplier of transport and logistics solutions. The company is present in 70 countries. DSV has confirmed its position on the market in Slovakia by a prolongation of a lease contract for an industrial space in Senec with a total area of almost 7,160 sq m. Falcon Real Estate is the owner of the industrial and logistics building in Bratislava Logistics Park in Senec. Cushman & Wakefield, a leading real estate consultancy, was involved in the transaction.

“DSV was looking for a production and warehouse space in the Senec area in the vicinity of the D1 highway with specific and strict requirements in terms of technical specification and quality. The industrial space had to fulfil not only location requirements but also strict quality and equipment requirements. Cushman & Wakefield opened a tendering procedure for real estate development companies, resulting into several offers of industrial facilities in the required location. Based on the consultations with the Cushman & Wakefield team, DSV selected Falcon Real Estate with their Bratislava Logistics Park in Senec as the winning location. DSV have been operating in this park for last several years and decided to prolong the contract with the owner of the project.“ says Martin Baláž of Cushman & Wakefield, who was involved in the transaction.

“DSV was looking for an A class industrial space in Bratislava region fulfilling the location and quality requirements. Falcon Real Estate offered us the most suitable alternative for a warehouse and production space. Based on our satisfaction from the past we decided to tender the space through Real Estate advisors Cushman & Wakefield. Although other offers were attractive and competitive, we selected a Bratislava Logistics Park as a winning location and prolonged the lease contract in this location.“ says Ivan Čabra, managing director of DSV Slovakia, s.r.o.
